My interest in literature and history led me to study English Literature and Linguistics at the Complutense University in Madrid, although I have always been devoted to painting. My artistic education, among other circumstances, involves drawing and painting training at the Bilbao Museum of Reproductions, specially focused on classical sculptures and live models. My artistic career stands out for having been a finalist for the 56th Reina Sofía Painting Prize with the work 'Los últimos del Concilio', recognition granted by H.M. Queen Doña Sofía
My artistic career has led me to participate in numerous competitions, having obtained various recognitions, including, as I have already mentioned, having been a finalist for the 56th Reina Sofía Award. On the other hand, my activity and exhibitions have mainly been focused on the Spanish market, although I am currently developing projects to bring it to China, Mexico and the US.

I was born and raised in a town in the province of Álava, surely the most beautiful, home to many excellent painters, including my father. Thus, I lived surrounded by brushes and paint, with the desire of being a painter for as long as I can remember. This strong calling was soon attacked by the need to attend school, which made me develop a lasting interest in literature. Such interest ended up being so great that, at the age of 17, I decided to abandon painting and I also dropped out of school to spend several years devoted to reading.
After a while, I moved to Madrid to graduate in Linguistics and English Literature at the Complutense University. In the course of my degree I returned to painting and focused on the study of anatomy and portraiture paying regular visits to the Prado Museum. Some brief stays in Florence, Rome or Paris also contributed to my artistic education. Once I finished my degree and concluded this simultaneous artistic training, I decided to dedicate myself entirely to painting.
In my work I try to reflect, on the one hand, the incoherent and absurd character of the contemporary world and, on the other, the beauty of the body and human expression in all its forms.
